Vendor Microgrant Details:
We are offering two prizes during the festival:
Black & Bronze Melanin Market Prize: $1K
A panel of unnamed judges will be evaluating businesses throughout the day, assessing professionalism, products, communication, customer service, differentiation and business development. We encourage you to maintain a tidy and professional display for the duration of the event.
Black & Bronze Community Grant: $500
Festival attendees will vote for their favorite business based on their own experiences with your offerings as well. So bring your best and invite your family, friends and customers to come out and support!
Winners for both grants will be announced at the end of the festival onstage. Winners will also be asked to complete W9s in order to receive grant funds at the close of the event.
All participating vendors must provide their own 6-8ft table, chairs and 10x10 tent, generator as needed, tablecloth and materials for display. In order to be considered for the contest and vend at the festival, all participating vendors must submit their entrance fee via Zelle to blackandbronzefest@gmail.com no later than August 8th. Late or unfulfilled payments will disqualify you from the contest.
Food & Beverage Vendors Entry Fee: $150
Non Food & Beverage Vendor Fee: $50
Food trucks will be located in the adjacent back lot of Carter G Woodson Elementary and Bright Star Community Outreach. Food trucks will have to enter through the north gate on 44th Street to get access to the back lot. Food Trucks must provide your own generators for power and lines to order should remain on that side of the fence.
Load In for the festival begins at 10am. All vendors should be on site no later than 12:30pm. Placement will be first come first serve. The festival begins at 1pm. The vendor marketplace will be closest to the park entrance located on 45th and St Lawrence. So parking in that area will be best for loading in.
Vendor Responsibilities
The Vendor agrees to:
Arrive on time for set-up and remain throughout the duration of the event.
Provide their own 10x10 tent, table, and chairs unless otherwise noted (Resource vendors will be provided a table and chairs)
Maintain a clean and organized booth area.
Comply with all city, state, and federal regulations, including permits and licenses.
Dispose of waste properly and leave the area in the condition it was found.
Provide any additional supplies (e.g., promotional displays, signage, linens, tent, extension cords, etc.).
Day of event - Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 1:00pm - 7:00pm
