Performance Notes
HHOD
Your performance slot is for 5 minutes. Please note if choosing to perform barefoot: The stage floor is plywood painted black. It is attached with rivets and the seams between the 4x8 sheets of plywood are butted next to each other with some unevenness. The unevenness is not much of a concern if performers are wearing shoes but is noticeable barefoot.
The band’s instruments will still be onstage during your performance. They will be in a fixed position upstage to provide space for you to dance. The stage is 4 feet above the ground.
Aintchureece & Muv Correctly Studios
Your performance slot is for 10 minutes. We will supply Reece with a microphone to emcee and facilitate the dance battle portion of your performance. The band’s instruments will still be onstage during your performance. They will be in a fixed position upstage to provide space for you to dance. The stage is 4 feet above the ground. Please keep this mind when thinking about spacing and blocking.
King College Prep
We will leave ample space in front of the stage so that you can have majorettes dance onstage and band members play from the grass in front of the stage. We welcome as many performers in the band and majorette group as you have, assuming you will be bussed from the 79th Street Renaissance Festival over to Armstrong Park afterward. When you arrive, please go straight to the Green Room: Morning View Word Church. The students will be able to gather in the main sanctuary of the church to get prepped before walking across the street to the park and the main stage to perform. Please be sure to be onsite, checked in with students at the green room no later than 3PM
